Design Village is the biggest outlet mall in Malaysia with a 24-acre lush garden. A forest-themed mall, the design intent was to allocate more greenery to cool down the tropical heat for patrons of the mall. Shaded places, wide-open spaces and resting benches were used throughout the mall to allow for events and activities. Natural and artificial materials were planned to ensure easy maintenance, comfortable surroundings and proper wind circulation.

Redevelopment was called to transform the largest sport complex in Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur Sports City - for the 29th SEA Games. Conspec Builders coordinated the hard and soft landscape works and completed ahead of schedule through expedited concrete imprint works, concurrently following through on softscape works with minimal machinery and preserved the large native tree species. Conspec Won an Honour Award at the Malaysian Landscape Architecture Awards in the Landscape Contractor category in 2018 for this project.

Azelia Residences is part of a development called Damansara Avenue for TA Global. The condominium is inspired by the concept of tall trees, waterfalls, streams and rocks reflected in the moonlight. Conspec Builders won the 2017 Honour Award in Construction for Azelia Residences comprising swimming pools, wooden decks, a playground, a nature walk, multiple water features and a BBQ area.

The Damansara Foresta condominium is the only residential project in Kuala Lumpur with a private jungle. Conspec Builders designed and implemented elevated walkways and a ground-level hiking trail where users walk in tree canopies and enjoy the forest undergrowth on the lower-level hiking trail. Using topography mapping, the route for walkways were planned so there would be no tree-cutting or heavy machinery damage to the 150-year old Bukit Lanjan Reserve Rainforest. Conspec won an Honour Award at the Malaysian Landscape Architecture Awards in the Landscape Contractor Category in 2017 for this project.

Designed by our associate company, Convergence by Design, revitalised The Sphere, catering to the growing population of residents and workers in the area. Inspired by water and plant layers within a rainforest, vertical gardens camouflage the hardness of utility spaces, while water features outline pedestrian walks and lush plants along the curved walkways with provide a comfortable al-fresco dining experience for patrons.

Maisson, an abandoned project, was revived by Newfields with the intention of creating a multi-generational family community living space. Conspec Builders built facilities consisting of a 50m infinity pool and children’s wading pool, children’s playground, maze gardens, a 2.3-acre landscaped deck and 5 sky gardens. A BBQ area was added with a hammock area nearby. Fibre-optic lights are installed inside the infinity pool, creating a twinkling effect at night. Conspec won an Honour Award at the Malaysian Landscape Architecture Awards in the Landscape Contractor Category in 2017 for this project.
